8. Animal houses and zoos
Many different shapes and sizes of enclosures for use outside can be built using exterior grade MDF as the main manufacturing material. Its advantages over other materials are easy assembly using panels up to full sheet size, high dimensional stability and good painting characteristics.
Typical examples include dog kennels, rabbit hutches, and dovecots for domestic pets and small mammal houses, aviaries and bird boxes for use in zoos, nature reserves and wild life parks.
